“Row me bully boys row!”

I was watching Robin Hood (2010) directed by Sir Ridley Scott and starring Russell Crowe and Cate Blanchett.

The word bully caught my attention in the song that the merry men were singing on the boat trip back home.

First time I realized that the word “bully” had a positive connotation. Before, it used to mean “jolly” or “merry.” When I was watching the boat scene, I thought maybe the word “bully” was a shipmate’s term or something. Noooope. It means jolly.
